土豆优酷双双遭难我乐网欲趁乱翻身

一个行业，发生在2009年开端的两幕图景，恍如一组鲜明的对比。

1月6日下午，正当土豆网CEO王微因为盗版问题而被媒体盘问得焦头烂额时，蛰伏半年的我乐网创始人周娟却重新走到台前，从容讲述着她新年的愿景。

      “2008年国内视频分享网站的广告市场增长200%，超过5000万元，我认为今年会继续增长过亿元。”周娟信誓旦旦告诉腾讯科技，她希望在其中分得相当可观的份额。

      此前半年，周娟曾经历了网站创建以来最仓惶的一段时间：2008年下半年，我乐网遭遇视频牌照风波，并因“技术故障”关停了一个多月，再加上高层动荡，曾经排名第一的我乐网由此被彻底挤出视频网站第一阵营。

      但是，现在的周娟却发现，情况并没有想象的糟糕。数千万美元现金还在腰包，视频牌照也到了手，新的高层团队也搭建完成。过去失去的，不过是一些流量和时间而已。

      令周娟私下里更感欣慰的是，那些跑在前面的视频网站并不如想象的乐观，它们也在面临重重麻烦。我乐网尽管遭遇了许多挫折，但现在却因祸得福，躲过了土豆网、优酷网面临的同样劫难。

      世事难料。谁就能料定，现在不是一个趁乱翻身的大好机会？

      土豆、优酷双双遭遇版权大棒

      随着我乐网实力的下降，土豆网和优酷网俨然已成为视频网站的两大巨头。不过，他们也因此而成为“出头鸟”而屡屡遭遇各种打击。

      1月5日，总部位于上海的激动网宣布，该网站牵头与北京保利博纳、北京橙天娱乐等80多家版权方联合组建“反盗版联盟”，声讨以土豆网为首的视频分享网站盗播未获版权许可内容的行为。

      尽管我乐网同样也是视频分享网站，但所有的炮火却无情落在了土豆网身上。

      据激动网CEO张鹤介绍，自去年年底开始，激动网陆续发现土豆网首页推荐的视频内容中，有激动网获得独家版权的视频内容。去年5月，激动网将土豆网告上法庭，11月法院做出最终判决前，土豆网主动要求庭外和解，赔偿因盗播《放逐》、《双食记》、《夜上海》等5部电影而对激动网造成的经济损失。

      诉讼并未因此停息，“1对1”的对弈反而演变成“群殴”，这让土豆网不胜其扰。1月6日下午，土豆网王微向媒体埋怨说，根据“避风港”原则，世界上任何一家互联网公司都没有义务、也没有能力对互联网著作权的归属进行逐一判定。“反盗版联盟”状告土豆的理由并不成立。

      事实上，土豆网、优酷网此前也遭遇到海外版权方的巨大压力。2008年年底，日本NHK等电视台等相关产业就开始制定对策，以应对中国视频网站对其电视剧、动画等的非法播放，其矛头直指土豆网和优酷网。

      据1月5日腾讯科技报道，为了规避版权风险，土豆网和优酷网不得不采取了屏蔽日本和韩国IP访问的措施。优酷网相关负责人在接受腾讯科技采访时承认，此举在某种程度上是“出于对用户和版权的考虑”。

      两难选择：要流量还是少烧钱？

      除了版权，“烧钱”速度也成为视频网站的一大难题。尤其对于土豆网和优酷网而言，因为流量巨大，他们的烧钱的速度要远超过其他网站。

      不久前，优酷网悄然屏蔽了百度和谷歌两大搜索引擎。据知情人士透露，优酷网此举的目的就是为了减少网站流量，从而实现控制“烧钱”速度的目的。

      据悉，在视频网站的全部支出成本中，服务器与带宽等硬件投入要占到70%以上，另外30%才是人力资源及其他成本支出。以流量鼎盛期的优酷网为例，其每月仅在带宽方面的支出就达千万元，按照这个速度，其每年在宽带的投入超过亿元。

      实际上，要流量还是少烧钱，这也是土豆网必须面对的两难选择。一方面，为了做大品牌并获得更多广告商注意，它必须追逐最大量的流量和用户。但另一方面，为了控制烧钱速度，它又不得不控制宽带在内的成本投入。

      第二阵营的翻身机会?

      优酷和土豆面临上述诸多烦恼，不过，我乐网却似乎没有受到太大影响。相反，它们看到了翻身机会的来临。

      “实际上，我们烧钱的速度控制得很好。”周娟向腾讯科技透露，由于在技术和采购成本上控制，目前我乐网的宽带成本仅为竞争对手的三分之一。“也就是说，竞争对手需要3000万元才能做到的事情，我们可能1000万就能做到。”

      2008年以前，我乐网完成了两轮共计3000万美元的融资。尽管融资规模比不上优酷和土豆，但周娟透露，由于烧钱不多，目前我乐网手头现金还很宽裕。未来也不存在太强烈的融资需求。

      “2009年对于视频网站而言，最关键的是寻找到商业模式的创新和突破。”我乐网新任CEO王建军也认为，在这方面，目前国内视频网站依然处于同一起跑线，并没有谁跑在谁的前面。

      周娟还透露称，虽然一些视频网站都在转型，但我乐网依然坚持自己视频分享的方向。我乐网还制订了三条腿并存的盈利模式：一是传统的广告模式；二是增值服务，目前我乐网已经开通了包括网页游戏在内的收费娱乐服务；三是手机业务。随着3G时代的到来，我乐网将在内容和互动两个层面挖掘手机上的新商机。

      土豆网遭遇的版权官司也为我乐网提供了参考样本。周娟承认，我乐网内部正在加强版权沟通和管理机制，通过这些措施，我乐网将可能减少来自版权领域的风险。

      不过，对于土豆网而言，时间已经不允许它们再做出新的调整了。突如其来的官司不仅消磨它的耐心和速度，也可能彻底拖累其未来的规划和发展。
